This event is an optional event sponcered by the Naval Academy in Annapolis MD.

We will be leaving from the Wal-Mart parking lot at 9:30. I have reserved a tour guide for our group after the boot camp finishes at the visitor center. The cost of the additional (OPTIONAL) tour is: $7.00 adults, $6.00 seniors (62+) and $5.00 students (1st-12th grades THIS WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ORIGINAL COST.

 

PACK 532 BOOT CAMP SCHEDULE

9:30 PREPARE TO LEAVE FROM THE WAL-MART PARKING LOT next to the Chevy Chase Bank

10:30- LEAVE PRKING GARAGE

10:40- REGISTER Recruits must be at the Armel-Leftwich Visitor Center recruitment desk no later than

10:45 a.m. to receive the Navy issue (Dixie cup cap) and to form into companies.

11:15- BOOT CAMP In three hours recruits experience a little of what itÕs like to be a Navy swabbie. They are issued a Dixie cup capÉthey learn Navy terms, how to tell military time, march, chant and follow ordersÉthey eat in a simulated messÉand they participate in recreational skating. Companies will march into Halsey Field House for training, then to Dahlgren Hall, the original armory of the Academy, for lunch and ice skating. Parents are welcome to observe, but must stay outside the parade ground

2:15- BOOT CAMP FINISHES

2:45- TOUR BEGINS (OPTIONAL) PLEASE CONTACT JEFF WITH NUMBER ATTENDING

4:00- HEAD BACK TO EASTON OR WALK AROUND AIMLESSLY!!!!
